Rules & Fair Play

PlayDen only works if every match is fair. These rules govern conduct, competition, and how we keep the arena clean for everyone.

Last updated May 2026Effective May 1, 2026Version 2.1

01Overview

These rules apply to every player, team, and match on PlayDen. By entering a tournament or scrim you agree to compete honestly and to follow both these rules and the official ruleset published for each game.

Game-specific rules (maps, formats, settings) are shown on each tournament page and take precedence where they add detail.

02Code of Conduct

Compete with respect. The following are prohibited and may result in penalties:

  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Toxic behaviour toward opponents, teammates, admins, or spectators.
  • Impersonating other players, staff, or organizers.
  • Sharing another person’s private information without consent.

03Eligibility

To compete you must:

  • Hold a single, verified PlayDen account in your own name.
  • Be at least 16 years old, or the legal age in your region, whichever is higher.
  • Meet any additional entry requirements stated on the tournament page (rank, region, roster size).

Smurfing — using a secondary or lower-ranked account to gain an unfair advantage — is strictly forbidden.

04Match Rules

Players are responsible for being ready at the scheduled time.

  1. Check-in: Confirm your spot before the deadline shown on the bracket. No-shows forfeit.
  2. Punctuality: A 10-minute grace period applies, after which the present team may claim a win.
  3. Settings: Use the lobby settings specified for the competition. Unapproved mods or configs are banned.
  4. Substitutions: Only rostered players may compete unless the organizer approves a sub.

05Anti-Cheat

Cheating of any form results in immediate action. Prohibited tools and tactics include:

  • Aimbots, wallhacks, triggerbots, or any third-party software that alters gameplay.
  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for advantage.
  • Account sharing, boosting, or playing on behalf of another competitor.
  • Intentionally disconnecting or DDoS-ing to force a re-match or win.

Confirmed cheating leads to disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and a permanent ban from PlayDen.

06Result Reporting & Disputes

After each match, the result must be reported in-app with proof.

  1. Submit the final score within 30 minutes of the match ending.
  2. Attach a clear screenshot of the end-game scoreboard.
  3. If results conflict, both teams should upload evidence; an admin will review and rule.

Admin decisions on disputes are final. Falsifying a result is treated as cheating.

07Prizes & Payouts

Prize pools are displayed on each tournament page. Winnings are credited to your in-app wallet once results are verified, and may be withdrawn subject to our Terms of Service. Players are responsible for any taxes due in their jurisdiction.

08Penalties

Depending on severity and history, violations may result in:

  • Warnings and rank-point deductions.
  • Match or tournament disqualification and prize forfeiture.
  • Temporary suspension of your account.
  • Permanent ban for serious or repeated offences.

09Reporting Violations

If you witness a breach of these rules, report it through the in-app report tool on the player’s profile or the match screen, or email fairplay@getplayden.com. Include any evidence you can. We review every report.
