01Introduction
PlayDen is a competitive home for players, teams, and organizations — built around tournaments, scrims, leaderboards, and a community feed where people post, recruit, and talk about the games they play. These Community Guidelines apply to your profile, your posts, your team and organization pages, your messages, and every match you take part in. They work alongside our Terms of Service and are enforced the same way for every account, regardless of rank, follower count, or Pro membership status.
02Respectful Behaviour
Competition gets heated — that's fine. What isn't fine is targeting another person instead of the game. We do not allow:
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any player, team, or organizer.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, region, sexuality, or disability.
- Doxxing — sharing someone's real name, address, phone number, or other identifying details without consent.
- Sexual content, grooming, or any contact directed at minors.
This applies in match chat, team chat, community posts, comments, profile bios, and direct messages alike.
03Fair Play
Leaderboards, ranks, and prize money only mean something if matches are genuine. Our detailed anti-cheat rules live in the Anti-Cheat Policy, but as a community standard: don't cheat, don't help someone else cheat, and don't sit on evidence of cheating instead of reporting it. Boosting a teammate's rank through deliberately thrown matches is treated the same as cheating yourself.
04Community Content
Posts, comments, clips, and recruitment listings on PlayDen should reflect real gameplay, real teams, and real opportunities. When posting:
- Don't impersonate another player, team, organizer, or PlayDen staff member.
- Don't post stolen clips, artwork, or other creators' work without credit or permission.
- Recruitment posts ("LFG"/"LFP") must accurately describe the team, game, rank requirement, and role — no bait-and-switch listings.
- Spam, engagement-farming, and repeatedly reposting the same content across the feed are not allowed.
Full content standards, including how we moderate reported posts, are in our Content Moderation Policy.
05Teams & Organizations
Team captains and organization admins carry extra responsibility. A captain is accountable for their roster's conduct during matches played under the team's name, and an organization's owner is accountable for every sub-team and staff member registered under its tag. Impersonating a rival team or organization, forging an organization's verification badge, or misusing recruitment tools to poach players through deception are all violations. See our Verification Policy for how legitimate organization badges are issued.
06Chat & Messaging
Team chat, tournament chat, and direct messages are private between participants, but they are not exempt from these guidelines. Automated messages, scam links, phishing attempts, and unsolicited advertising in chat are prohibited. Repeated abusive messaging can result in a chat-specific mute in addition to any other enforcement action.
07Reporting
You can report a player, a post, a comment, or a chat message directly from its menu in the app. Include as much detail as you can — screenshots, timestamps, and match IDs help our moderation team resolve reports faster. Reporting in good faith is always safe; we don't take action against someone for filing a genuine report, even if we ultimately decide no violation occurred.
08Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, enforcement can include a warning, temporary feature restrictions (chat mute, posting suspension, tournament registration lock), point or rank deductions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. Severe violations — doxxing, threats of violence, content involving minors — can result in immediate permanent termination without a prior warning. Team and organization pages can also be suspended independently of any single member's account.
09Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you can appeal from the notice screen in the app or by emailing community@getplayden.com within 30 days of the action. Include your account details and why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. Appeals are reviewed by a moderator who was not involved in the original decision.
