Content Moderation Policy

The standards we hold posts, profiles, and chat to across PlayDen's community feed, and how we review what gets reported.

Last updated July 2026Effective July 1, 2026Version 1.0

01Overview

This policy covers everything posted to PlayDen's community surfaces — feed posts, comments, profile bios and images, team/organization pages, recruitment listings, and chat. It works together with our Community Guidelines, which describe expected behaviour, while this policy focuses on how specific pieces of content are judged, reported, and reviewed.

02Content Standards

Content on PlayDen must not include:

  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes a real person without consent.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or doxxing, as defined in our Community Guidelines.
  • Misinformation designed to manipulate a tournament result, leaderboard standing, or recruitment decision.
  • Spam, scam links, or content whose primary purpose is to deceive rather than inform or entertain.

Match highlight clips, memes, strategy discussion, and honest criticism of gameplay or organizers are all welcome — this policy targets harmful content, not disagreement or negative reviews.

03Reporting

Any post, comment, profile, or chat message can be reported directly from its menu in the app. Choose the category that best matches the issue (harassment, hate speech, spam, impersonation, sexual content, etc.) and add any context that helps our team review it quickly. You can also flag content anonymously — the account you report is never told who filed the report.

04Review Process

Reports are triaged by severity — content suggesting an immediate safety risk is reviewed first. Our moderation team reviews the reported content against this policy and our Community Guidelines, and may remove the content, restrict its visibility, or take no action if it doesn't violate our standards. We use a mix of automated detection and human review; automated removals of clearly prohibited content (such as known scam links) can happen before human review completes, and are still subject to appeal.

05Enforcement

Enforcement for content violations follows the same scale described in our Community Guidelines — from content removal and warnings up to posting suspension or account termination for repeated or severe violations. A team or organization page can have specific content removed without the entire page being suspended, unless the violation reflects a pattern across the page rather than a single post.

06Appeals

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can appeal directly from the removal notice in the app, or email community@getplayden.com within 30 days. Include the content in question and why you believe it doesn't violate this policy — appeals are reviewed by a different moderator than the one who made the original decision.
