01Introduction
This policy applies to every ranked match, scrim, and tournament played through PlayDen, across every supported game. It exists to protect the integrity of our leaderboards, rankings, and prize pools, and it applies equally whether a match has real money on the line or not. Violations here are enforced independently of — and in addition to — any action a game publisher takes on their own platform.
02Prohibited Software
Using or possessing any of the following during a PlayDen match is a violation, regardless of whether it was active or visibly used:
- Aimbots, wallhacks, ESP, radar hacks, or any third-party overlay that reveals hidden game information.
- Speed hacks, macro/scripting tools that automate inputs beyond normal device accessibility features, and recoil-control scripts.
- Modified game clients, injected DLLs, or emulator exploits used to gain an advantage on mobile-only tournaments.
- Any tool marketed or commonly known as a "cheat," "hack," or "unlock-all" for the game being played.
03Exploits
Deliberately using a bug, glitch, map exploit, or unintended game mechanic to gain a competitive advantage is prohibited, even if the exploit exists in the base game rather than in PlayDen. If you discover an exploit, report it to the tournament organizer or to fairplay@getplayden.com instead of using it — knowingly exploiting a bug you've already reported is still a violation.
04Match Fixing
Match fixing includes deliberately losing, deliberately underperforming, colluding with an opponent on the outcome or score of a match, or wagering on a PlayDen match you or your team is participating in. This applies to every round of a tournament, not only the final — deliberately losing an early round to manipulate bracket seeding or avoid a stronger opponent is treated the same as fixing a final.
05Smurfing
Playing in a rank or skill bracket that doesn't reflect your real skill — through a secondary account, a fresh account created specifically to face lower-ranked opponents, or misrepresenting your in-game rank at registration — is not allowed in ranked ladders or skill-bracketed tournaments. Genuine new players are not penalized for a natural placement period; smurfing enforcement targets accounts created or misrepresented specifically to gain a competitive edge.
07Investigations
Reports are reviewed by our fair-play team, who may review match replays, device and session data, in-game statistics, and evidence submitted by reporters. We do not disclose the specific evidence or detection method used in an active investigation, in order to protect the effectiveness of our detection systems for future cases. Accounts under investigation may have payouts, tournament registration, or matchmaking temporarily held pending the outcome.
08Penalties
Penalties scale with severity and history, and can include point or rank resets, forfeiture of the match or tournament result, forfeiture of prize money already earned in the affected event, temporary suspension, or a permanent platform ban. Confirmed use of cheat software in a paid tournament typically results in an immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of any prize money from that event. Teams may lose an entire tournament result because of one roster member's violation, since a team's result reflects the whole roster.
09Appeals
You can appeal an anti-cheat decision once, within 14 days of the enforcement notice, by emailing fairplay@getplayden.com with your account details and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect. Appeals are reviewed by a member of the fair-play team who was not part of the original investigation. Repeated frivolous appeals may result in the appeal window being shortened for future violations on the same account.
